Our Team

Jerry Rutgers, the owner and president of Integrity Custom Homes, Inc., has worked in the construction industry in Rochester since 1990. Jerry has a wide variety of design and construction experience including residential and commercial architecture and numerous construction projects, some in excess of $3 million. Jerry and his wife, Barb, founded Integrity Custom Homes in 2002.

As a hands on owner, Jerry is involved in all aspects of your project to ensure that the vision you have for your home becomes a reality. Jerry is the lead designer, estimator and project manager on all projects. Jerry also brings to the table the foundation of the company, which is integrity. His goal is to provide you with a designer/general contractor that you can entrust with all aspects of your investment. Working on the biblical principle of Colossians 3:23 Jerry strives to perform all of his work as if he is doing it “for the Lord.”

John Thompson is the lead carpenter on all of Integrity Custom Homes’ projects. John brings nearly 40 years of personal construction experience and expertise to the business. His wide variety of experience in both residential and commercial construction and an exceptional work ethic help him to bring unmatched quality and cost efficiency to every project. He also brings creative solutions to commonly encountered construction challenges. We rarely say “it can’t be done” with John around.
